Teaching

Ally regularly teaches piano to over 50 pupils every week across Newton Mearns and has extensive experience in teaching pupils of all ages and abilities. With such an wide range of pupils, Ally is able to cater to different tastes in music, including classical, contemporary and traditional Scottish music. Ally's teaching portfolio also extends to well-known musical events throughout Scotland, including The Gaitherin and Fèisian where he teaches and helps pupils improves their skills in practical and theory whilst building their confidence in performance.

 

Ally provides home lessons in Classical, Contemporary and Traditional Scottish Piano (solo and accompaniment) for all ages and abilities. Ally is also an experienced individual who provides tuition for ABRSM Theory Exams and SQA Exams at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher levels and university auditions. Ally is fully PVG Disclosed and holds a Fèisean nan Gàidheal Level 2 Tutor Training Certificate.
